Tears of the Sun Motion Picture Soundtrack Released

Lebo M composed and performed African poetry "Yekeleni" (Stop the Carnage) and "Kopano" (Unity) that was featured in the blockbuster film "Tears of the Sun" starring Bruce Willis.

Tears of the Sun was released by Sony Films in early Spring 2003. Long-time Lebo M colleague
Hans Zimmer produced music for the film. Lebo M wrote "Yekeleni" with Heitor Pereira, and wrote "Kopano" and "Cameroon Border Post" with Hans Zimmer.

'KILIMANJARO' Opens In Johannesburg


Kilimanjaro, a 7-star venue which includes state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, recording facilities and a local and international entertainment program opened in Johannesburg, South Africa Thursday October 31, 2002.


Lebo is the former co-owner and chairman of KILIMANJARO, the most ambitious project in entertainment yet seen on the African continent. Lebo M and Hans Zimmer In Concert in Ghent, Belgium

As part of the Flanders International Film Festival, Ghent, and the Young Music Festival of Flanders, Belgium, Lebo M performed "Lea Halalela" from The Lion King and "Mother Of Africa" from Power Of One during a live performance that was captured by the CD "The Wings Of A Film: The Music of Hans Zimmer".
