LEBO M FOUNDATION

click for more info. . .

In 2000, Lebo established the "Karabo Foundation" (recently re-named the LEBO M FOUNDATION) to help develop crèches and housing for needy South Africans and assistance with AIDS patients throughout Africa.

The Lebo M Foundation was originally inspired by Quincy Jones's "Listen Up Foundation" and "Artists for a New South Africa," which rallies philanthropic support from the US and South African music industries.

The Lebo M Foundation is supported by yet another initiative of Lebo's, viz, "Indigenous Games of Afrika" a company he has established where games that have been played for centuries on the African continent are now formalized and commercially produced to contribute to sustaining African heritage, culture and education. All manufacturing of the game-boards is done by disadvantaged communities.
